Basic items to remember when training:
- STRETCH - During and after every ride, this will reduce injury.
- HYDRATION - Carry at least 2 bottles on your bike, 1 for water and 1 for carb replenishment.
- NUTRITION - Always carry gel or bars with you so you don't bonk. Eat carbs before a long ride.
- HEART RATE MONITOR - Consider purchasing one to help with endurance training.
